My numeric readout for mileage is not showing the complete numbers.

Loose connection maybe ? Where/how do I look ?

Anyone else experience this ?

 

Similar thing happens on my G. The top half of the odometer will alternate between bright and dim randomly. I suspect my problem is some type of loose connection since it's not permanently dim or dark. I believe that the circuit board in the instrument cluster uses LEDs (at least on my '06).

Does yours stay dark all the time? I've read that you have to pull the entire cluster and either solder in a new bulb or replace the entire cluster itself.
