Default 350z AT / Automatic Transmission fluid brand

This has been covered before but nothing current. I have to do the first AT fluid change for 2007 350Z Roadster. Only has 50K miles, I am 3rd owner got it with 30K miles and don't drive it much... AT and diff fluid should probably be changed.

From what I can tell Nissan says to use their Nissan Matic-S fluid. Have done some investigating online and it appears that the CASTROL TRANSMAX IMPORT MULTIVEHICLE is the same item as the Nissan Matic-S..

anybody on here using the Castrol for your AT fluid? Like the Castrol as I can can pick it up locally(TX country) and get the job done ASAP.

any other advice on fluid greatly appreciated.

Hey, I’m interested in this discussion. I changed mine at the Nissan dealer when purchased the car last year, but paid around 200 for the job...

Why bother with anything else than Matic-S? It's an automatic car you don't have as much leeway in ATF specs.
