Default Long crank, then start...stall on warm start

This one's gonna be long;

2004 350z Base Manual. Over the last two weeks I replaced my spark plugs (disconnected battery for about 4 hours total). This is where I found out my valve covers were leaking into the spark plugs. I noticed if I shut it off and turned it on, the car would stall unless I gave it a little bit of gas. Then on a test drive my idler flew off the car. Awaiting parts, I never started the car.

Tore everything down Sunday, installed new OEM valve covers and gaskets, used RTV, installed 5/16 plenum spacer, used RTV, put everything back and the car wouldn't start. After a day of troubleshooting, I realized the last plug on the wiring harness was still disconnected. (Not the cam sensor). After plugging this in, the car cranked for 5 seconds, sputtering to life. Test drive, it was fine. If i shut the car off and turned it back on, it would stall again on warm starts.

TL;DR: So now I have the issue where the car consistently takes 3-5 seconds to turn over, and on warm starts the car will stall. Any ideas? Thanks!

Two ideas are worth pursuing. First, scan the ECM for any codes held in memory. Second, check the FSM for testing fuel pressure, as it could be line pressure is dropping when the Z is shut down.

Wanted to update the thread in case anyone stumbled upon a similar issue. The stalling issue I believe is pretty common with ECU resets. It seems to have worked itself out. The hard starting, was due to my negligence in the cam position sensor on the driver side not being bolted down all the way. Car runs great now, and just made 252whp on a DynoJet.
