So just recently found out both license plate lights are inop. I've tried swapping the fuse even though the parking lights still work and swapped both bulbs with new ones. Neither fixed the problem. I haven't had any work done in that area as well. Any ideas?

 

Have a multimeter? You could check the power to the lights, and also inspect the wiring for damage.

 

If you don't want to diagnose it, run your own wires from tails to license plate
