06' 350z Heating up and only cool air out of the A/C
About a week ago, I was driving my 350z and it got super hot as I was about to get on the freeway. The cause was a big crack on the top driver side of the radiator. My reservoir was over the max line and the only leak was in the crack. Before this occurred my cars heater wouldn't work unless I was driving and I would hear a "gurgling" noise coming from the engine when I started it up. The coolant in the reservoir would never stay at same volume, but the car also wouldn't overheat until the situation with the "big crack" in the radiator.
I got it towed home, and I swapped out the radiator myself.
Everything seems to be plugged in, there are no leaks, and the fans are working fine. However, my car still over heats at about 20 min of idling or a couple minutes of driving (About 2 min). The only air coming out of the cabin is cold and I no longer hear a gurgling noise.
My next step is to replace my thermostat as I believe that's the issue.
Can anyone else give me input before I begin replacing it and other parts on my car? I've bled the system for quite some time now so I dont think trapped air is the issue.
Update: After some more extensive bleeding of the system, the car no longer heats up, but heater is still in the same condition of only working when I'm driving.
