350Z Stuck in Limp Mode
I have a 2005 Enthusiast 350Z with zero modifications. I bought it from this guy for cheap because the car was stuck in limp mode, and he gave up on it. Upon further inspection, it looks like there may have been some sort of rodents (probably squirrels judging by the number of acorns in the engine bay) living in the engine. Near the IPDM module, there was a bunch of chewed-through wires which were repaired. We have looked over the rest of the car and its harnesses, and we have found no other damage. The car starts up and runs just fine. It is stuck in limp mode so it will only rev to around 1500 to 2000 rpm, and it can't drive faster than 9 or 10 mph. After repairing the wires the only two codes I get are P1122 and P1126. I've gone through the repair manual to try and diagnose the issue and, it says if the car is showing both P1122 and P1126 to diagnose P1126 first. It says "1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Check voltage between ECM terminal 104 and ground" However, there is no wire running to terminal 104 on my ECU harness?? The wire color is labeled as SB in the manual so I'm guessing that's solid blue? I've tested a couple of solid blue wires near that terminal, but I get no readings. Also yes, the throttle body and throttle pedal were replaced. All of the throttle body relearn procedures have been done, and I still get nothing. If anyone has any information that can help me out with this I would much appreciate it.
Yeah I knew it was some sort of blue. I just don’t understand because I don’t have a wire running to terminal 104, which is apparently the throttle motor relay? Maybe it’s a different pin for my car??
The wire is a green wire on the throttle motor harnes wire and the ecm wire is the sb wire coming off the ecm up above the right foot. There was a short somewhere from the ipdm to ecm to throttle motor control. The ecm was sending but tb wasn't getting the power.
