Default Driver Window Rolls up with key only

I purchased a 2004 Z as a project. It has not been taken care of very well. The first task I started was to fix the windows. The driver side window did not roll up all. Reading the forums, it was likely the motor. I disassembled the door panel and replaced the motor. The window would not roll up or down using the buttons on the door but would go up and down when using the key to roll them. I then did the motor reset using the key to calibrate it. Now the window rolls up and down all the way when using the key, but the buttons still do not work.

Any ideas what to try next? I am thinking replacing the button assembly next. The locks work on the assembly.

Likely the rocker switch on the switch box is bad. may try to disassemble and clean before replacing, i had to do that on my seat switches.

There is a small window lock-out button on the driver door switchbox. Make sure it's not down/depressed.
