350z stalling
2006 350z 116k miles 6MT Rev up engine I been trying to figure out what’s causing my 350 to stall for two months now, I changed the MAF sensor, wideband o2 sensors, and cleaned the throttle body and the spark plugs, when I turn it on it runs good 1000 rpm then bogs for a bit down to about 700 rpm then goes back to 1000 rpm and repeat, car stalls when I’m in gear with the hood closed, then I tried turning it on and it was dying immediately and I’m hearing a hissing sound coming from the tip of the Intake between the maf and fans, seems like the car runs better while the hood is open, I’m thinking I have a air leak where that area is so Ima do a test any other ideas why it might be stalling?

Put a cheap vacuum guage on the intake manifold hosing. It should read steady and 20 or higher. Also make sure your MAF sensor is seated correctly, and all intake fittings are snug. Gl!

Yeah thank you I’ll try the vacuum gauge, I tried spraying starter fluid around the manifold while it was running to see a difference and noticed no change, MAF sensor is facing towards the filter and all fittings seem snug, I seen one ignition coil looked like it was swelling so I’m changing that and also the battery terminals since they look worn out
