Default B&M 70266 Automatic Transmission supercooler help

Hi there I bought a B&M 70266 Automatic Transmission cooler 20,500 BTU and don't know what size hoses to use and what brackets, zipties etc I need for install? Im struggling and have been searching for hours what size hoses I need for the cooler and if I should use braided lines and what size, what kind and 6AN? 8AN? 10AN. It says it comes with 1/2 NPT inlet/outlet but thats it. I

Heres the cooler selection chart on back of the box thanks
can only see anything about 6AN please help as Im at a standstill on what hose size and clamps are needed and if I should pay extra for braided lines? Thank you in advance

I don't know what size hoses you need, but you can measure the OD of the old provisions from the transmission side. Then find the appropriate size and length lines, it may be 6an. The fitting thread on the cooler is 1/2 NPT so going to have to get 1/2 NPT to 6an or barb fittings. I'm sure someone has done something similar on here. As for the bracket you will have to make your own. You can make simple brackets and then use these
mounting zips mounting zips
normally used to mount the fan, to mount the cooler to your bracketry since this one doesn't have a decent mounting solution.

Thanks I bought the b&m mount kit and hayden mount kit with brackets but reading online I see 6an is mostly 3/8 and 8an has 1/2 fittings but I still haven't figured it out nobody has helped me on here besides the little info from you. I hope someone can help me find the fittings needed I was going to get 6ft 8an ptfe teflon lined braided line from summit racing but can't figure what fittings are needed?

Get two of both the items below and how ever long 6an line you need. Use plumbers tape on the npt, don't forget hose clamps.

And avoid zip-ties. There only good for test - fitting.

Thank you and I got a 6ft braided summit 8an ptfe hoses and the outlet on the B&M cooler is 1/2 NPT so I got 8an to 1/2 NPT fittings 2 of em. I won't be using hose clamps because I got braided line so I didn't have to worry about the clamp failing while driving in the summer. Its like 120°F here in the summer so I need it to work really good without failing. Thanks for your help and the 2nd link 350 for a cooler is insane I got the 20,500 BTU B&M which is like one of the best for only 130 the hoses and clamps was what was expensive 40 bucks for one hose. Thanks again for the help

Well I bought 2 kits because I returned the B&M 70264 kit with 14,500 BTU for the 70266 20,500 BTU which doesn't have install kit with it because it can be used for differential fluid or engine or trans so they consider it custom. I bought the B&M ziptie install kit and Hayden automotive install kit with brackets and stuff so don't use zipties whats wrong with the circle zipties in the install kit? It's B&M 80278 install kit only came with zipties. I'm not sure now seeing as the universal cooler 70266 I got has the low pressure drop feature to make sure it doesn't overcool the transmission. Thanks

Ok, I kinda get it- if all 4 corners are secure and there's no danger of sharp metal edges slowly knifing through vinyl then you should be good. Always just seemed like a half-azz temporary method to me (as opposed to real brackets). No worries.

Without pics I'm not certain I understand the issue. The OEM lines are only long enough to reach the radiator. Please post a couple pics and clarify exactly what you need help with.
I'll ask a friend to help. @bealljk
