Rear taillights not working. Please help! Is my daily!
Hello everyone, I am the owner of a 2006 Nissan 350z enthusiast couple. My taillights are not working however my brake lights and license plate light still work but my running lights do not. This is only on the rear of the vehicle. The enthusiast coupe came stock with led taillights so is it possible they just burned out? Do I replace the whole taillight? Any help is great full this is my daily driver and I would love to be able to drive at night!
Both sides at once? I doubt it. If you’re not able to diagnose it it would be cheaper to have a pro look at it than it would be to throw parts at it. Basically you need to check power feed to the lights, if they have their feeds, and grounds, then yes, it would be the lights.

This may seem obvious but... did you check the fuse(s)? And, if its blown and/or repeats itself, check the box itself - could have a short in the box. This issue is pretty common.
Not likely that both tails would go out simultaneously. Not impossible but not likely.
EDIT: Just looked at what Fuse 6 protects and it lists:
Door Mirror, Back Door Opener, Theft Warning System, Navigation System, Power Door Mirror, Headlamp, Daytime Light System, Headlamp Aiming Control System, Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Lamp, Combination Switch, Parking Lamp, License Lamp, Tail Lamp, Rear Fog Lamp, Illumination, Combination Meter, Headlamp Cleaner, Audio, Antenna, Telephone
So if the fuse is blown, none of these would function and you said the brake and license lights function properly. Check anyways then proceed to chasing the harnesses (or have shop diagnose), sorry.
