My 2008 Z has some kind of issue with the passenger door/door switch and the door ajar light coming on when driving.

Sometimes when i go over bumps, i think the switch is actuated, it thinks the door is open and the door ajar light comes on on the dash. Sometimes it will fix itself and turn off on another bump but its not a permanent fix.

I know it's not the hatch or anything else as the door window being actuated makes a noise.

I should add, there is a foam pad which is inline with the door switch/nipple. When i close the door, this foam pad hits in the switch and allows the window to go back up.

If i take the foam pad off, the windows wont move and it will still think the door is open. I have driven without the foam pad on the door, the door ajar light stayed on the whole time but i never heard any noise from the passenger door as the switch wasnt activated. Then again, i've only driven like this once, maybe twice(?).

When i roll down the passenger door window from the drivers side, the door ajar light will flash for about a second as it thinks the door is open again, but i think this might be a separate issue(?).

Any help in solving this is appreciated.
