Default 2004 350Z Roadster-No start or crank

Came home parked the car in the garage went to go out 1 hour later When going to start it- the car just clicked once- The battery checked out good- checked and tested all fuses and relays including the relays in the IPDM all good. checked and tested the clutch switch which shows it is good now at a loss. It did throw a Cam position sensor code and wondering if that is what is causing the issue and if I need to replace that. I am going to try to push start it and pop the clutch and see what happens. Looking for suggestions....

Yes....cam sensors need to be replaced with oem only

Pretty common symptoms of them being bad, may run like crap or die even if you push start. One day it will act up, another day it will be okay then start acting up

So it could be the issue of no start or crank then since everything else checks out?

most likely, they are known to go out and not like aftermarket sensors. how many miles do you have?

133000 ordered a hitachi replacement which they say is just as good as a Nissan OEM will be here tomorrow right now taking out the old one got it out but having fun separating from harness even when I have the release button pushed all the way in but taking my time

Ok replaced it still no crank just a click pulled starter bench tested it and starter is fine. Now I am at a dead end and will again check and trace all fuses and relays.

what have I missed?

Here is an update-even thou the starter bench tested to be ok i found that one of the wires and the bolt holding it on was in fact broken but touching so it passed the bench test but did not work in the car. I replaced the starter and the car is now working great!
