Default Timing off?

Hello i have a 165k miles de 350z Im doing the gallery gaskets, the secondary timing chain marks won't line up I did spin the engine multiple times counterclockwise when trying to line up before, but only in small increments. I'm worried one of them may have jumped timing. If that's the case, can anyone verify. When i line up the right side secondary mark everything is cleaner and very clear like in the photos but when i line up the left side secondary since only one or the other line up not both its not dead lined up as to say.

What's the history on the engine? Was it running without issue before the teardown? Is this a used engine from a salvage yard? Here's a diagram for how it should look. (Note: It's not uncommon for alignments markings to be a tiny bit off-center, especially on higher mileage engines).

Personally, I would replace the chains, tensioners, guides, and water pump since you're already there and the engine is considered "high mileage" at nearly 170k. The recommended interval is around 150k mi if you want everything running tip-top. But this is dependent on the health of the engine. If it skipped time during a high-rev scenario, you could have bent valves or worse.
Cheers!

The engine was running perfectly before, just a slight missfire, figured it may be a vacuum leak since I had an EVAP code. I am doing a full refresh while I'm there. It is a stock engine. -thanks for the responses
