Lightbulb Non-HID headlights

Does anyone know if the stock HID ballasts/harness will fit on a stock Non-HID headlight assembly??

I got in a minor accident where my left headlight needs to be replaced...the dealership is charging me close to $800 just for one headlight...i'm trying to save myself a couple hundred bucks just buying a Non-HID headlight...

Just go all out for the HIDs. Its definately worth it for the few extra bucks.

I forget what site it is. They sell the HID headlights for around 600 each I believe and I think its a DIY

I think that he was asking if he could get an OEM NON-HID housing for his already existent HID setup (for a cheaper price than the housing of the HID). I believe that I read on this board that the HID housings have reflectors for the Xenon bulbs... just saw it recently on a search of HID lights.

Try this question to Jeff or Jason at Performance Nissan. They'll be better able to help you with OEM pricing for both.

I'll probably end up just buying a brand new HID assembly...I called Performance Nissan a couple days ago...i didn't get to speak to Jason or Jeff..but the guy there told me it's possible...i just want to avoid any complications...
