Question Tranny whine when decelerating?

Anyone know what causes the whinning I'm hearing when decelerating? It's most noticable when decelerating from higher speeds such as exiting the freeway. I've tried it both in gear and in neutral with no difference. It can hear it when accelerating too but it's hardly noticeable.

I get a vibration when letting off the gas often in the 3800-4200 rpm range.. but only there. Its not audible really.. but you feel it in the shifter.

Default Whine on acceleration

I just hit 1500 miles and now I get a pretty loud whine on acceleration in all gears. It gets quieter once i'm not on the gas. Anyone else?

That sounds like rear whine more than tranny whine. My rear whine can be heard at 79mph +.

The sound we're referring to, can be heard when downshifting, at low speeds etc....sounds like something dying almost...winding down
