Are you installing ceramics? No more brake dust!

How do ceramics perform, how long do they last, and how do they treat the rotors? I might get some if they don't have much break dust.

Also, is there a how to for the brembo's? Looking at them it seems fairly simple but I just want to make sure I don't do anything stupid.

Hmmm, as I wrote that how-to I figured I'd chime in. I went with the Hawk HPS pads as mentioned and couldn't be happier with them. Very little brake dust, what dust there is is much lighter, and I can go a couple of weeks without cleaning the wheels and it is barely noticeable. My old wheels would look black in comparison.

Good Luck! It's one of the best things I've done to the car.

HokieZ has some great pictures and instructions. I spent more time cleaning my wheels than changing the pads.

I love the Hawk HPS pads. There is still some residue but it easily washes off, rather than sticking to the wheels.
