I used amsoil 75w-90 in the tranny about 4 qts.
Valvoline syn 80w-90 in the Diff. 2 qts.
Why are alot of ppl using 75w-90 in the Diff. when the service manual states to use 80w-90 ?? Its not like its hard to find found them at pepboys, auto advance, I'm just curious why...

Why not put the good stuff in the diff, too??

I set myself up as a preferred customer- it was worth the small investment. I order direct from the web site.
I contacted their techs about both applications and the API service codes and they confirmed that the Series 2000 was an excellent choice for both. Plus, no mixing, as with Redline and no additional additives necessary for the LSD.
