Loosing treble section of audio on left side of car intermittently
Ok, I have a new problem on my 2004 Touring Roadster.
I am loosing treble on the left side of the car intermittently, but I can reproduce it easily by taking a sharp left turn into my drive, and you can hear it physically stop!
I am not sure of the speaker layout with the Bose system, but I am betting there is a seperate speaker for the treble portion of the audio to the left of the drivers seat.
If anyone has any similar experience, and any fix/TSB etc. , please let me know ASAP
Cheers

Sorry for your troubles.
Bose is very low on my list of stereo systems, but there are enough blasts on this website, so I will not elaborate
there are recalls (I think) in the Bose system, Nissan was going to use Clarion as a replacement last year, but I do not know what happened.
Supposedly, Bose (or Blose as many people say) made good on the bad units- your problem sounds like a loose wire.
Dealer time, I think.
They can check the wiring integrity pretty quickly, and know where the weak spots are.
Good luck

If you switch from cd to radio does it improve?

Hi Jeff,
Got the car back and it feels good, clutch now engages right at the end of the pedal and makes for very fast shifting. Takes getting used to off the line but does not feel spongy or mushy. Shifts are very quick and positive and is quicker in a straight line banging through the gears.
Parts installed
30100-CD020 & clutch disc
32010-CD008 transaxle (gearbox)
46503-CD011 Pedal

They replaced the speaker and it appears to be ok, still hearing a little change (maybe the feature that turns the radio up and down with road noise that I have seen mentioned here)
