Default Bose - Sound heard on right channel only??

Okay, I know many would tell me to trash the Bose...but if this is a warranty issue I should at least get a new unit.

Sometimes while listening to CD's the left channel will get quieter than the right. Only with CD's....if i switch to FM it becomes normal again. If I eject the CD and re-insert it, problem goes away.

I have been able to create the volume difference by cornering hard.

CRAZY !!!!

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I am experiencing this exact problem. Everytime I start the car and play a CD, after a few minutes the left side speakers will just die out.....but when I switch over to FM all speakers play fine. Anyone have any idea as to what could be causing this problem?

The radio doesn't contain the Prologic coding that CDs do and you probably just don't notice it cut out.

As for cassettes, they have 2 tracks and if your head is out of alignment you will loose one of those, thats probably a different situation.

I have the same problem with CDs, dealer is taking the car in today.

I suspect it is a physically bad speaker, connection or wiring harness as I can literally make mine cut out by taking a hard turn.

Mine did the same thing (see my other thread). It is your head unit that is bad. I had mine replaced a week ago, and now it has the CD mechanism jammed with 4 of my CDs stuck in it. It worked for a couple of day before completely screwing up They've ordered me a 3rd HU.
