Exclamation Tire Feathering Problems? Tell The Government!

FILE YOUR COMPLAINT WITH NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMIN AT: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/
ONLY 162 COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN FILED SO FAR! NO WONDER NISSAN IS DRAGGING THEIR ASSES ON THIS!

I doubt NHTSA will do anything since this feathering issue doesn't compromise the safety of us at all. Instead, they'll ignore it. There are other governmental consumer advocate services (ie BBB) that are more appropriate outlets for this issue.

Oh boy, get the government involved to solve your problems!

Gag!

Next you'll be telling people to have their mommies contact Nissan.

FILE YOUR COMPLAINT
The easiest way to deal with Nissan's arrogance is to autocross the car every weekend and then you'll even the wear out across the front tire, the rear tires will wear out before the fronts and you will have a great deal more fun than you are having now.

Seriously, Nissan isn't going to do a damn thing about it because they really don't give a s__t. My dealer does but they don't.

We need an independent/non-nissan place to document our all our complaints so when the time comes for a massive class-action lawsuit against nissan, we'll have the numbers to support our claims. Nissan is saying it involves only a small percentage, and that the recall/tsb/alignment warranty extension fixed the problem, even though we all know that is bs.

Default Goodwill!?

Took my '04 zr into service for the 12 months stuff, comlained about the tire roar, they checked it out said 'yep you got the tire problem', BUT the '04 isn't covered under any Nissan TSB, only the '03's.
I have a build date of 06/2003 and only 6600 miles. What a crock of kimchi!
dealer is pursuing a'Goodwill' fix from nissan....Not holding my breate for any goodwill from nissan.
If you have an '04 with this tire problem PM me so I can pursue this with Nissan, please provide your Nissan file number!

I took my 04 z in last week w/ 8500 miles on it for the 3rd time. Before they gave me the lines you are getting. This time however they said all they had to do was call Nissan to get approval. They tried to do a front tire swap, but I told them that was just going to be a temp fix. So they took it back to have the tech messure the tire wear and came back and told me that my tires were on order...YAHOO!!! So I guess ask if they can call nissan to get it taken care of, and if they say no tell them you will call nissan. Oh, I told them I knew about the class action lawsuit too..I think that helped..lol My wife told me I was being a jerk. I'm just tired of messing w/ Nissan!
