Default Clutch pedal adjustment question... Feels too low

I had the dealer adjust my clutch pedal at my last service and it feels like it might be too low...
Did they do a shity job or do I need to get used to it?

Right now it feels like I have 1 to 2 inches of free play, then about 3 to four inches during which the clutch engages/disengages. Then I hit the floor. It feels like I hit the floor 1 inch past disengagement of the clutch. I'm worried that it's not disengaging fully... didn't expect that much of a difference.

Anyone who has had this done want to tell me how theirs feels?

Right now it feels like I'm driving a 10 year old car with a worn clutch. I kind of like the pedal height but it feels soft and I would like at least a half inch of free play past disengagement so I know the clutch is all the way off.

I think I'll fiddle with it this weekend and see if I can get it better.
Is there any way to safely reduce the free play at the top (before clutch on/off zone)?

Any feed back would be great.

Here's a link to instructions posted by another member a long time ago (since you're gonna fiddle with it this weekend )
