i think i have just become the newest addition to the growing problem of window motor. damn thing went out yesterday (but it did work again after the first notice of failure) now i can't roll my window down at all. i'm pretty sure it's the window motor and lucky me that my odometer reads 38k miles so trying to get it covered under warranty is outta the quesiton.

anyone here got this problem fixed and know how much i will have to fork out to get this damn thing to work again.

 

I had exactly same problme on my driver's side window motor.
It worked again but after few days It did not work.
So I replaced it. I brought my car here in Korea, there is no Nissan
dealer. So I had to pay over $400 to fix it.
I brought the window motor for $195 and shipping and labor
were over $200. Just go to Dealer and get it fixed.

 

Got first notice yesterday at 44k miles. It worked after I opened the door and, helped the motor lower the driverside window. The windows rolled back up and after a few up downs, everything looked okay. Hope it stays that way.

 

just brought my car in for the driver side window too..its been working on and off for months and i thik its finally dead...just brought it in this morning so i am waitig to hear back from them...will update you...im only at 16.900 miles so warranty is a blessing here......

Push on NNA to get this covered. It is assinine to think this is acceptable on such a young car. Call your dealer reason with them- then drop a stink bomb on NNA and wail! they will respond. This appears to be a serious emergent problem and may even followed up with a recall.
