Ok a week back my brakes were making a horrible screeching noise. Took it to nissan - killed the pads it seems.

They gladly offered to throw in new ones at no charge.

While it was on the lift I was checking out the tires. Front ones seem fine, however, the rear right tire is wearing very unevenly. The inner rim is very lopsided as opposed to the right.

FYI I have an 04 enthusiast with about 9000 miles.


Spoke to the mechanic and he said the feathering is only for the front tires, but just looking at it I could see a problem. Also the rear left inside rim seems a lil off, but the wear isnt anywhere as bad as the right side.......

Should I ***** about feathering? Also the back tires are chewed to hell. I drive the car hard but wouldnt say I abuse it.......much.


I dont want to get past 12k miles and be stuck with unevenly wearing tires.....
