Default help... just installed new intake

hey guys,
i just installed my new intake, my gf got me a typhoon intake by kn. I am bummed to say that i didnt get the one that i wanted, but hey it was gift. Anyways back to the problem at hand, i installed it a few days ago, and soon after my engine began to turn off randomly. It has happened six times now, the best i can figure is that whenever i "gun it" the car shuts down.
Anyone have a similar problem and have a solution for me?
And does anyone know if by installing the intake if it has voided my warranty?
p.s i also started to notice that my oil pressure is a little lower than normal, i checked the oil and its in the area that its suppose to be in...any thoughts?

probably an air leak somewhere. Check clamps and hoses to make sure they are secured and tight and installed correctly.

I've seen threads on this before. One thing you might check is the oxygen sensor connection. (in engine compartment, in front of firewall). Good luck, Dave

Unplug the battery for 10 minutes and then reconnect it, this will reboot your computer management system, allowing new data from the sensors throughout the engine system.
