hey folks, im about to do a complete fluid change , motor, tranny and differential, now i kno you have to jack up the car until its leveled then drain the gear oils. my question is. im about to get a pair of rhino ramps to drive up on to, now my question is, how do u jack up the back while the car is on the ramps? wont the car be out of balance if u just jack up the rear one side at a time while its on the rhinos? i remember seeing somewhere that you can use the differential as a jack point for the rear no? so both rear sides go up evenly. thanks, need advice
I backed up on the Rhinos, set the parking brake, then jacked up the front until I could level it out on jackstands.
Worked like a charm!!!!
Just make sure you have some type of pump system to get the gear lube up to the fill plugs- and make sure the fill plugs loosen before you drop the drain plugs!!!!

and thnkx for the heads up on losening the fill bolts..i wouldnt have thought of that.

If you back on, you can leave it in gear and set the e-brake and since the rear wheels are not floating in air, the car will sit still while you jack up the front.
