Question "Engine Service Soon" light

just had this light come up last night. when I started it up this morning.. its gone. Hasn't showed up since. Anyone know what might be the cause? I got gas about 4 days ago and checked my gas cap already.. and I changed my oil about 2K miles ago in case any1 is wondering. Not really worried, car is running fine. just wondering if any1 knows what could be going on?

The electrical seems to be somewhat quirky in these cars... I had the same thing happen to me before, except with the ABS light. Only after shutting down and restarting the car did the light go away.

There is actually a TSB on the electrical system. guess they are a little too sensitive especially with the fuel and ignition system. the TSB just has them reprogram everything and densensitize it i guess.

wouldnt think its a big deal. just mental note it and the next time you are at the dealer have them run a diagnostic on it cause they should be able to hook it up to their computer to see when the light came on and see what it was about. and then if need be have them do the TSB.

do they really program this light to come on before the reccommended service intervals. I had it happen twice, and it was right before these services should be preformed.
