Default Final verdict on the Bose amp replacement(s)?

Hey guys,

Just curious as to what the "final say" is on the Bose amp replacement. I noticed that they put 2 TSB's out for both the overbassing (i think it is) and the reduced clarity problem from fixing that. Are these 2 tsb's worth doing? I would most definitely like some improved clarity and bass with the stock setup until I can piece together an aftermarket system

Better clarity ( so now it is average)
Less bass (average at best)

My 2 cents, no matter what you do to the stock Bose system, it still sux. BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment!!!!!

I had the last amp TSB performed, skipped the early ones.

It sounds a lot better.

Not a "premium stereo system" in my opinion but I can live with it.

I would suggest printing out the TSB when you take it to the dealer. Mine was clueless and told me their was no problem with the amp after inspecting it.

Right!

I dont think there is another TSB since last year on the amp replacement. If you listen to the Bose long enough, your ears become accustomed to the crap and you start thinking its okay. But, if you jump into a buddy's car or any other car with a decent stock system, you realize how bad the Bose system really is in our cars. I had a Bose in my Audi and that was 100 times better. Don't know what exactly went wrong with the system in the Z.

My advice, spend some money and gut the whole system out.
