About to get a 03 Z. What are common probs?

Default About to get a 03 Z. What are common probs?

it has 100k mile warranty on it and it's a 03 performance model. Will I have to change the tranny? if i change it, will it be fine after that? also are theere ANY commonly known problems on 03 models? plz help. I am getting it very very soon.
Please help me out. are Z's very reliable like honda s2000s?(that's what i sold just now BTW)
any info would help me out greatly!

find out what tsb's have and have not been performed. to get a list of the ones that affect the car go to nissanhelp.com pretty self explanatory from there. goto the 350Z section and you can get a list.

Of all of them make sure that the front tires are good and not feathered. even if the car has had the feathered fix/bandaid done if I were you I would work into the deal to get an alignment done on the front end to the latest specs. just to make sure.

Yeah. If you have the warranty, any problems that come up i would think would be covered under the warranty. The only things i've read about really as common problems are:

-tire feathering
-trouble filling up the gas tank

The only real aid for the tire feathering is to get an alignment and possibly new tires if they are unevenly worn. I usually have trouble filling the gas tank up all the way, it gets pretty close most of the time but i have to put the handle at weird positions and go slow.
