Rattling from shift knob no idea!!!

Default Rattling from shift **** no idea!!!

WE all know that the shifter vibrate well today i heard a noise coming from it and its not the tranny (not nearly loud enough) and i think i pin pointed it i think its the shift ****.
Has anyone else had this problem?\

Is there something in the **** that could have broke free and rattled it real annoying.

yea take the shirt **** off and remove that ring that is under the ****. i bought an aftermarket nismo shift **** and it did that and i took that ring out and it stopped.

Mine started doing that after it was taken off and then replaced when they installed my A/F gauge. All I had to do was tighten it on there a few more rotations and it disappeared.
