My '04 Z only has only 2900 miles, so far. Now, I have this annoying rattle that is co,ing from up front on the passenger side more toward the engine, if not from inside the engine bay. To describe the sound: it's almost like 2 drum cymbals (or top hats) bottom sides ups and barely touching each other to make a little constant rattle. Hope this helps.

 

I've heard this before.. the metallic sound.

I thought it may have been coming from the door. It hasn't returned for a while, but i'd like to know as well if anyone has a fix.

 

How hard was it for you to install those clear lens markers up front? Did you have to remove the entire front valence, or just underneath. I just ordered a set and would like to know what I'm getting myself into. I've got a Daytona Blue Z, as well, and yours looks awesome

 

Thanks. It can be done without removing the bumper cover with the right tools (flexible power-screwdriver attachement).

The drivers side is super easy -- the passenger side has the washer fluid tank in the way.

Any update on the hidden drummer tapping the top hat in the passenger area?
