Default *Teaser* Just a little something

Hey guys,

Heres a little blurry teaser pic of my car. Just finished putting on the cf hood/hatch as well as the coilovers and lmgt4's. I'll get some clear daytime pics early next week when I get back from NY.

I'd say it saved around 50-60lbs keeping stock glass. The stock hatch is metal where as this is a fiberglass underlay. When you hit the trunk release button the hatch flies up in the air because its soo light. Utilizing lexan would have affected the front to rear weight reatio too much. People say its worthless to do the hatch swap unless you use different glass but trust me it cuts a lot of weight. I'm now down 159lbs. Tein Flex's added a little bit.

Welcome to the CF hatch family You really think you saved 50-60lbs on just the hatch?

iLLestJrz: I do need a lip kit badly, not sure which one i like just yet...

rickdogg: the original metal hatch weighed a ton when i took it off... i was too wuss to go lexan but I guess i always can some day down the road

Thanks guys, I sold my harness bar and I'm waiting on my kirk racing roll bar now. I'm dying to get it back to the road course with all the new stuff. I'm still in college so extra spending cash ontop of all I dumped into the car already is hard to come by, but once I can afford my new rotors I'll be back on the track.

I was just wondering in your honest opinion, how is the fitment of the CF Hatch....is it pretty close to stock? I dont want huge gaps. Also who did you guys order the hatch through? let me know guys, I wanna join in the CF Hatch family too. Thanks.

The hatch fits pretty damn close to stock. If anything there is a tad more gap equally all the way around, otherwise it looks good. A lot of vendors sell seibon... just put a wtb out there and grab some quotes.
