Should not be a problem. Other people on here have said that rainwater is not an issue with the duct. I remember one guy talking about driving in bad weather around time of hurricane Katrina and his Popcharger never got wet. I have this duct and I have checked the popcharger many times after driving in the rain, I have only seen one drop of water.

I picked my duct up at SPL too. I like this mod.

Guys, it looks like the Varis air duct will work with the NISMO front lip. Can you confirm that? Also, will the Varis air duct be functional with the NISMO cold air induction? I'm just nervous that I cut a hole in my bumper and find my filter isn't where I thought it was....if you see what I mean. Thanks!

the nismo front lip is just that.... a front lip, if it used on the oem bumper. The varis duct is useless at feeding air to a true cold air intake, since the actual filter isnt located in the engine bay anymore, but just behind the front bumper. If you have the nismo cai, then all a varis duct will do is feed more air into the engine bay and possibly the radiator.
