For those that don't know, my hood flew up on the highway and smashed my windshield, roof, tore up both fenders and broke the hood in half. This happened a week before Thanksgiving and the car was down almost 4 months. The good news is I did not hit anyone else and made it out safely.
The better news is it gave me the opportunity for a full new paint job and some little extras I have wanted for quite some time. I had the car sanded completely smooth and painted the stock Silverstone color with double the suggested metallic flake. The car now shimmers in the sun and reflects like a mirror.
I also had the rear wiper removed, the Z emblem on the side color matched and a new spray on clear bra added. I had my Wilwood BBK painted Ferrari red (was black) and kept the original silver lettering. Under the hood I had the radiator support, power steering fluid cap and the plastic under the battery and brake covers painted to match the exterior. While the car was down I had clearcorners.com do the headlights again for a perfect color match.
Once I got it back I added some red Bride Ergo II seats. The end result was very nice and the car is now perfect on the exterior. What do you think?

Omg that is so hot....Im happy to see someone who is modding there Z removed the windsheild wiper! haha, i see so many nice looking Z's with rims, body kits, and the F'in wiper sticking out like a sore thumb. I am going to color match my side Z emblem to CS, along with removing and get smoothed the nissan logo on the front bumper, should go nice with a CF V.1 lip. Awesome car!

Still the sickest Z around. I am interested in that spray on bra. I have been looking around for a place to do a 3M bra. Would you recommend the spray on over it?
What did you do with your old seats??

Once thats off, you just unscrew the motor, unplug it, take it off, then to remove the actual wiper, you have to close the hatch, and at the end of the wiper near the car, there is a little cover over the bolt you have to unscrew to get it off, be very careful not to be moving the wiper around or you will scratch the car (I did). You can find plugs at a Home Depot for the hole, I found a nice chrome flat plug that had these prongs that you can bend so it holds it in the hole real tight, I forget the size, but you can take the black plug that comes off the wiper for reference. Just go out and mess around, you'll figure it out
That looks insanely gangsta!
Tim, I can't believe what lengths you go to for perfection. What would you estimate a shop would charge you to mold the rear hatch to get rid of the rear wiper assuming the car is already getting a body kit put on?

Thanks everyone!
BhashaZ - I am currently running 275/35/19 on the rear and 245/35/19 on the front. I am planning on running 265's in the front and 305's oe 315's in the rear soon.
3-fity - The spray on clear bra looks 100X better than the regular clear bra. No seams!! If you want to do your hood or fenders you would to have them done all the way or do clear bra on that portion. For the front bumper, I love it.
GQ 350Z - I am a perfectionist. It is an expensive problem! I bet you could get the wiper removed and molded for around $400 to $600. If you do it right you have to weld metal into the hole bondo, sand and fill. If you use just bondo or fiberglass it will eventually crack. I might be low balling this number.
Hood pins = necessary evil. It goes well with the car. She is not a sleeper anyway!
