its a country club dude.

anyway, not sure if its dropped yet. doesnt really look like it. but you did ask for some constructive criticism. I have a couple carbon fiber pieces on my DB Z and it looks cool. Perhaps a little more on the outside wont hurt.

The problem with dropping the car is that while all the places I go to regularly has pretty good roads, the school that I attend has horrible roads and many bumps. As soon as I get outta here, I'm droppin this b!tch like it's hot hahaha.

I would like to mod my car up too both under the hood and outside, but I think I'm going to upgrade the engine first then the exterior. What do you think would look good on the outside though?

i understand the bad road thing, thats why i have waited so long to drop mine.
I have the carbon pillars near the door, and a carbon cover for the front bumper and i like it. just a little more to accent the exterior. I dont like big wings, or bodykits, so you wont see anything like that on my car. but some nice carbon pieces or a nice lip. Now thats good stuff!

Yeah, I was thinkin of getting a lip, but I'm not so sure which one I like the most nor have I done enough research. As I mentioned before, I kinda want mine to become a sleeper first before I do any major modifications to the exterior. But I am keeping in mind all the things that I like on other Z's and what other people suggest for future reference. Thanks again for your suggestions/opinions/comments.

Nice pics.

If you're looking for suggestions... one is the forged internals CNC shift ****. I think they produce them in groups, so you might need to wait for the next group buy. There is a thread in the marketplace section.

Other suggestion that just makes the car look better overall is the silvered turn signal bulbs from evostyle.

IMO don't just buy a lip... maybe nismo front bumper or something, which would go nicely with your wheels. But often times (not always) a lip just looks tacky.

Hey man, VERY CLEAN DB!! haha I hope to have mine that clean someday but it keeps raining here! what did u use to wash it??

+1 on the EvoStyle bulbs! (thanks wired 24/7 for telling me where to get them back during the perf. nissan meet) i ordered mine last week and they came in yesterday. I cant wait to see what it looks like with the 06 headlight housing. There will be absolutely NO amber in the entire headlight after I put this in. I'll post before/after pics when I install them.. could be today!

Thanks for the great compliment. That particular day, I washed my car with just water and dried off with a towel. I'm thinkin of waxing it after I wash it with Zaino products sometime within 2 weeks whenever I order them.

Where can I get/order the EvoStyle bulbs? I'm also looking for a pretty decent shift ****, something not too expensive but not too cheap either. I'll be looking forward to your pictures of your car.

you can get them from their website.. http://www.evostyle.com/EVOvision.htm

unfortunately, the 2006 headlight uses a different bulb so the ones i got are no good. I tried it in the rear turn signal but it didn't emit a light bright enough where i felt safe.

A word of warning though, if you do decide to install these.. be very careful as the fitment is a little loose. It popped out of my rear turn signal socket and into the plastic housing as i was taking it out. i had to fish it out with my middle finger with tape wrapped around it. i just read about horror stories of these bulbs also falling into the headlight assembly if not secured enough. members had to use a coat hanger with tape or even take off the whole assembly via removing the bumper. i wish i had known how loose these were before tried i installing mine.

Whoa that sucks, did not know that they wouldn't work on the 06's.

As for the brightness, they ARE less bright than normal, but they are still bright enough. You need to view your car from the angle that other drivers will be viewing it. Namely, from ~20 feet back. If you do this you will see that they are bright enough.

(P.S. even the stock bulbs won't look that bright in direct sunlight so keep this in mind)

Mine snapped in there pretty good as well. No problems with fitment for me...

So the fitment on the 03 would be fine? The brightness isn't a problem either right?

03 has the same fitment as 05 so yes.

Brightness... well I'll repeat that the bulbs themselves ARE less bright than stock. Come on, they HAVE to be, the silver layer prevents transmission of some of the light.

But when you crouch down to see how they actually REFLECT off the parabolic reflector, there is plenty of light. Sometimes in bright direct sunlight it might be hard to see blinking, but the same is true of any turn signal bulb or even headlights!

It looks clean the way it is. The wheels don't look that bad either!
