Actually, you know what, I believe you if its a 6MT, b/c I personally pulled 150 mph in 5th gear, but i didnt fully redline it, I take it back. Im pretty sure under some HARD driving it could be done in 5th gear.

this gets me thinking.. what IS the fastest people have hit?? im sure theres a thread on it someplace if i searched.. i hit 165 in my old stealth twin turbo (pretty heavily modded) and 175 somehow with a friend in his e46 m3.. always thought those things were limited, but i sat there staring at the speedo as it did it.. i think once your above 130 or so it all feels the same
