Not sure are we use the same stuff? The one I been use for half year is Turtle Ice Synthetic Liquid Polish, it looks like water, but it actually oil and smell like candy or bubble gum, doesn't state any wax, very easy to use, put it on wipe it off, I usually apply 2 layers after I wash my car, I think it works better than wax, good stuff
