Default Modded engine cover to fit SSV...

I used a dremel and cut my engine cover to fit with my SSV. My first attempt is the blue painted one which warped a bit where the red circle is. This time I left a center bracket to keep it from warping and I also kept the top portion attached for more stability. I still have sanding to do to even out some of the lines and smooth it out...

What do you think?

Also... I need opinions on if I should paint the center blue again or paint the outside blue and leave the center like it is?

First attempt: (below)

The red circle is very faint, it is in the center at the V6.

I like the G35 cover silver/black, painted looks tacky. What are you guys using to trim the plastic and not ruining the edges? Dremel and sand the edge after?

My cover was already painted and I just dremeled it. I didn't even sand it. Took like 15 minutes to do.
