Question for Photoshop Experts
What is the best way to learn photoshop and how did you learn?? Trial and error, courses, videos?? I bought a book, but it is pretty confusing and I am just wondering what route different people took.......

www.good-tutorials.com is where i learned quite a bit, but i also took classes at the CC near my house.
but also alot of is trial and error. just sit down if you have time and mess around with it and become familiar with the basic tools (extracting, filters, gradients etc.)

I learned on my own.. and am still learning.. i knew nothing 3 months ago but am fairly comfortable now.. but as your photography gets better and better you'll probably use it less and less..
this site was helpful to me in the beginning..

well if you want to know the program;s features get classroom in a book from adobepress.com that will go over 95% of the features..
Ive been using it since 5.0 its (9.1) technically 9.2 but the update was crap so we pulled it back..
I think channels and masks are kinda hard at first but the hardest to learn it the printing process like half tone screens separation spot colors.. color management is a total nightmare if not done right.. I know it alot more an learned little things since my job is to fix it for you or help you do stuff with it.. (if you have a legal copy)

I just learned on my own. No books, tutorials, or classes. I took classes about 6 years afterward... but found out it was a waste of time. I already knew everything they were teaching me. Its been about 9 years now... and I'm still learning Thats what I love about Photoshop! Theres always new versions, new filters, new add-ons, and always new techniques to try out!
