i'm jealous. my friend has a 70-200 f/2.8L, but without IS, and the lens rocks.

I'm going to start doing my photography thing more serious now, so I deicided to get some new equipments. People been telling me to do so for a long time. I'm not a bad photographer (I think) .. I am hoping to get either a 30D or a D200 later this year. Probably the latter.

 

Your next purchase will be a backup body so you won't have to switch out glass

 

I'm jeleous, I want those lenses so bad. I can't wait till I can buy an "L" lens sometime, especially with IS. Great choices man, post some pics of the new lens when you have a chance. I want to see some Z shots with the lens.

The 70-200 f/2.8L non IS is actually sharper than the IS version.
