Default Pics of my new 2006 w/ wheels and suspension

Here are some pics of my month old 2006 Z. This week I installed Volk Gt-n's 18x8 18x10 w/ offsetts of 13mm and 18mm. The tires are Kumho ASX's sizes 245/40, 275/35. Also installed Tanabe NF210's. The ride on these springs is great(very smooth ride w/ a slight improvement on handling)

Looking good! The drop really makes those rims 'fit' the car. Always thought 18's looked kinda small without a drop. Did you ever consider gettin' those in GOLD? That would've been HOT! Still, car looks great. Time for a clean looking front lip (Top Secret)...

Take care

Thanks for the compliments guys. I would have loved to get them in gold, but i got a smoking price on 2 of the rims that i couldn't pass up on( $250 brand new and shipped on ebay). I was the only one to bid on them so i guess i got lucky. I like them because it is a rim that you don't see on the Z very often

Nice wheels; I considered getting them myself!!! Was the deal for the fronts? The reason I ask is because my setup would have been 18x10r and 18x9f.

This might be a dumb question but, when you lower your car like that, are there any short or long term negative effects on the tires etc...?? I'm thinking of lowering mine about like yours but don't want any problems down the road.

How much did you lower it??

you get a bit more negative camber with those springs, meaning more inner wear. stock shocks arent gonna like them for too long. will need to change them out sooner then usual.

It was for 1 front and 1 rear. Its deff a price you don't see everyday

W/ these springs you are supposed to be able to get the alignment back to spec. If not then very close. The springs are progressive rate springs which allow for a more DD freindly ride. Tanabe supposively designed these springs with the stock struts in mind so i wouldn't think it would cause any drastic wear and tear on the struts.
