Talking My Z and my beater (3000GT)

I guess I really wouldn't consider the 3000GT a beater, but it is my daily transportation so it has seen it's fair share of knicks and dings. But it sure does clean up nicely (although it pales when parked next to the Z).

This is the first time I have been able to take pictures of both of my rides all cleaned up and Zainoed since I bought my Z in Jan. Enjoy and let me know what you all think...

Thumbs up

Not bad! There seem to be a bunch of people here who have or have had 3ks.

Man, 155 views and only one comment. I know my digicam isn't the greatest, but is the pic resolution that bad? It must be the ugly scenery behind the cars ...I'll to take some more pics (with a better camera) when some foliage fills in

I too have a Track Z and my Winter Beater is my 92 Stealth TT. Just crossed 106K miles on it. Ya gotta love the AWD for winter driving too.

My 3000GT VR-4 will be for sale in about a month. You can see pics of it in the link in my sig. If he wants it, you can pm me and we can go from there.

I traded my (base model) 3000GT in for my Z.

VERY glad I did it!

So long, baby!

Dr. Bonz - Beautiful Stealth! I'm jealous of the TT. Unfortunately, when I bought my 3KGT four years ago the insurance would have been to much for a VR-4/Stealth TT, so I settled for the SL. You have quite a bit of miles on yours, but I think I got you beat. The odometer reading on mine is now at 189,900 and still going. I hear from many people that Mitsu makes really unrealiable engines

L28E_280ZX - If Virginia is too far from you than where I live in Maryland is the same distance. Your brother would probably do well to have one with much lower mileage and a VR-4 (see above)

189K!!! WOW. My engine bit the dust at around 95K last year, and I had to get a brand new short block. The good thing is that I now have another 3 yr. 36K warranty on the engine. I'm only going to be driving it for 4 months a year now so "The Green Ghost" is now considered put out to pasture.

This is four layers of Zaino BTW.

Nice Dr. Bonz. I see you are in PA. Did you know a guy named Elton who had a blue VR-4? Or Aaron who had a red second gen Stealth TT? (3si guys I know in PA)

Nope, sorry. I'm in the far west part of PA. Almost on the Ohio border.
