Damn, i see a lot of nice things at Crystal Cove out here, but being able to see these cars actually run on a track...... well, I just envy that! those are a lot of VERY NICE rides, and nice pics!!!

They don't publically advertise it but one of the local SCCA guys works the corner stations for this and other similar events and gives us a heads up before hand. This is an annual event that I first heard of two years ago but they didn't have it last year because of Katrina. I will be back next year.

Pop-a-lock wouldn't provide service to the area. I had dropped them into the trunk whiel grabbing another camera and the lid dropped shut, then the car locked itself! I ended up getting a break-in kit off that sergeant and we wrestled the door open after about 30 mins of work. I definitely owe that guy a couple beers!!!Here's a few of my pictures before I have the rest of the official press stuff online at our event website (frenchquarterclassic.com) I will have the rest of them up by early next week!
