Spent the day with some Stallions (and a few bulls, snakes, etc.)

Today was the track day for the Ferrari French Quarter Classic at No Problem Raceway. I saw and heard some truly amazing cars. I've got a couple short videos I'm going to try and merge into a single so I can post it later.

Nice pics!! I really like the ferrari 355, for some reason its one of my favorite models. Also, noticed some one plopped 2 helmets on the roof of that work of art they call the Carrera Gt!! OMG, people have to much money that they dont even care about small scratches and such on such a beautiful automobile. BEN

Nice pics! My wife called me yesterday morning and said they were passing in front of the Federal Court on Poydras where she works and that she wishes I was there to see it all. I figured something like this was going on with what she was saying. I saw a couple of the Ferraris on my way home back to New Orleans from BR yesterday.

BTW, I don't know if I caught it in the video, but the Carrera GT did run on the track with the other cars so it's not just a "show piece".

I love Ferraris almost as much as my Z...... but that engine bay on that Carrera GT was unbelievable. Thanks for the pics.

Invitations are not necessary. It's open to the public for a $10 donation (goes to charity from what I understand). They don't publically advertise it but one of the local SCCA guys works the corner stations for this and other similar events and gives us a heads up before hand. This is an annual event that I first heard of two years ago but they didn't have it last year because of Katrina. I will be back next year.
