It's actually pretty quiet. when you start up the engine you can tell its not stock, but the idle is really quiet. When you just start to get moving you can hear it, similar tone/sound as stock, just a bit deeper. It starts to fade away as you get higher in the rev's (3k+). I will have HFC's and headers eventually so i wanted to start with a quiet catback.

maybe i'll try to make some clips with my crappy camera.

Nice choice!
If I'm not mistaken that would be MRC right? I can almost hear BPM or The System in the background cant wait to see my z on that lift in the spring!!

Mike- My ears aren't the greatest but it tends to fade away at higher RPM's... either that or the sound from the Crawford plenem and Popcharger drown it out. It will get louder once i get my headers & HFC's. Hopefully then it will be juuuust right.

The reason why its so quiet is that theres an quasi-x-pipe with a long resonator at the merge, then it splits up into two mufflers then into the two mufflers that come out the bumper. You can kinda see from the second pic.

Ichigo- Yes it is MRC, and yes the music was blasting lol. Matt did a great job with everything, he did all my mods pretty quickly. All this stuff is just routine work for them.

emrgnz- Yes the GReddy is awesome. I was deciding between this and the HKS hi-power but the tone was just not right on the HKS. I don't regret my choice one bit. And to top it off, the whole GReddy catback is POLISHED... oooooh shiny! hahaha.

My Z is pretty plain from the outside, the only exterior mod's i've done are the clear side markers on the front bumper and the 'deceptacon' transformers decal on the upper passenger side of the windshield.

Here's 2 from the ZaG meet i went to over the weekend.

And heres 2 from the ECZA meet in PA last month. and yes i touched up these pix a little bit to bring out the color in mine.

Well, thats my screen name on AIM, i've had it for a few years now. I like trance music, and always like the cartoon since i grew up on that stuff. And then i just put the two together to make a screen name and ever since i've always used it as a user name on forums.

Then a few years ago my friend bought a Firebird (custom pearl paint) and it had a deceptacon transformer logo in the same spot. He sold the car and then he came across a whole set of these decals and he gave me one recently. So now me him and our other friend have one.

Call it corny, but i honestly don't care what people think of it. I like it and it goes with my AIM screen name and forum name. So yeah thats the gist of it.

If i'm not mistaken, isnt the transformers and the deceptacons a crew out in cali? I remember them from shows past..

edit: Nice exhaust, looking at that same setup for my car. Would you happen to know the diameter of the setup?

Thats funny that theres a crew... maybe i should start my own (not).

i'm really not sure what the piping diameter. It doesn't even say on teh Greddy site. But on the Z-1 auto site it says 80mm. I installed the exhaust with a Crawford plenum but i can't imagine the greddy adding more than 5hp.
