By the way, did they put that lame bright white sticker on the back of the car that says "Nissan World of Springfield"? If they did, I'd take it off right away. Looks horrible IMO.

i'm very surprised you got it that cheap. i also live in jersey and went to nissan world and the other two nissan dealers on rt. 22. to make a long story, and rediculous, short, nissan world wanted about 3k over msrp. the other two dealers wanted even more than that. anyway i ended up getting it from acme nissan on rt. 130 for retail. they were great, not hassles at all! i strongly recommend anybody wanting a Z to go there. they didn't even push on me an extended warranty.

I live in jersey as do some of u boys...and i was wondering...are u guys plannin on puttin the front liscence plate on there?? do u already have one on there considering it is law...but the Z doesnt really look like it has any room for one.....but would you??? that front is so beautiful...doesnt it seem like your bastardizin the front by sticking a garden state piece of tin on it??? I drive around with no liscence plate on the front of my M3 and have never been ticketed or stopped for doing so... any thoughts guys?? btw...nice car dude... i'm thinking of purchasing one myself....defintely a Track..

I put one one.. actually didnt have choice.. Dealer did it... I dont need to be stopped for that anyway.. I'm playing it safe.. thinking about tint thought 20%

 

The front license plate thing is so annoying. It's mostly for when you're driving and a cop is using radar on you, he aims at the license plate, since it is very reflective and flat, to get a speed reading easier. Now it's also big because of all of the cameras here and there. I can't wait for the speeding cameras!

 

No front plate on mine. Taking my chances and so far no problems, knock on wood. I think they'd let you slide provided they don't stop you in a rage because you are doing a number of other illegal things.

jhagan, as for tint, go to Tropic Window Tinting in Union and talk to Alex. He does an awesome job. I was going to go with 20% also, but he suggested 38% titanium, because my Z is Silverstone. It isn't quite as dark as 20% but has a really nice reflective (not a tacky mirror look though) quality while still being dark enough even in bright sunshine. It looks awesome. He'll know the right thing to do on yours.
