You're wide-body and ONLY have a 61" wing?
I say no for the fact that only 2 people may be able to use your wing as a salad bar. That makes it more like a coffee table!
Did you ever move any further on your dream wing project or give up?
edit: Graffkid, read your build thread and was wondering the entire time: you like ping-pong a lot or what?
double edit: just looked at it again. Realized it was a mirror looking at one ping-pong table. I'm an idiot lol.

coffee table wing.. nice. Has a hipster ring to it haha.
my dream wing is happily on hold as i wait for the car back in hand.
Somethings can be visualized in my head, others need to be in front of me to see what works or not, especially something klike that. I sit here while im waiting and just keep buying part after part... chaibngin my mind weekly.
I just bought the Akebono BBK fr/rr and wow, the fronts are heavy.. didnt think of that.. so now Im trying to SHAVE weight, so thinking tunnel hatch. Kinda affects my wing choice i guess.. sucks as i already have all the parts and wings already too. Cost aint an issue, its building and being unique and getting what i want that i seek.
Kinda throws a wrench in my plans. Dunno tho.. I already have 2 hoods, 2 sets of new wheels.. will be 2 hatches, 2 wings, 2 sets of door panels.. you get my drift haha.

NICE. you have obtained the holy grail of wings.
i totally love those pedestal mounts. ..
Also, look at your Angle of Attack, you're too far tilted down in the front, you'll end up stalling the wing out. that's the beauty of the dual element wings (upper back row) you don't need that high of an AoA in order to get lots of downforce. the air flow is coming down at an angle from the back of the rear windsheild, so whatever is flowing underneath is what is sucking your car down, not how much air you're trying to deflect up over it..
but anyways. i would totally rock this wing, but i would go back to the metal hatch..

^ahh i see very cool very interesting. thanks for pointing that out. being that you are the Master of Flight i was actually going to PM you for tips on how to properly angle this massive thing to maximize the down force. i'll readjust it in the back a little more so it looks more even and leveled out.
how did the metal hatch work out for you? better for track purposes? this wing is badass you should sell your type 3 and get one!

Hope I qualify!

My friends and I have already eaten food off of it, so we broke it's salad bar virginity already. Thinking about going to buy some aluminum and make bigger stands though. Peer pressure is getting the best of me.

Damn, somehow all the pictures have gotten removed from my server! Either that or you guys saw them and I can't see them now...Errrr.. sticky situation. To my other web server it is with more pics!
Driftworks Carbon GT wing, made for S-chassis / skylines mostly, probably explains the lack of good adjustability when put on a Z. But I love it! After this next drift event I'm making some higher stands for it. It's currently a shabby 1600mm wide.
