So I hit some black ice tonight on the highway 22 in oregon. I was goign about 70. It was about 30 degree's out and i have stock tires on. After i started sliding aroudn not much I could do. I hit a curb type enbankment in the middle of the highway, ran over 3 tree's and 1 road sign, than hit the concrete barrier that was in the middle and rolled. Than i slid about 50ft.

Somehow i survived. From what the firefighters/medics/police told me, I should be dead. They said the car did exactly what it was supposed to do, the roll bars, seat belt and airbags worked perfectly. When they got htere and saw my car they were amazed i was walking... Especially without any injuries. I have a few cuts from the glass, that's it. This all happened about 4hours ago, just got out of the hospital.

They said if i would have been driving my mustang right now, there was no question i would be dead heh.

The Z is amazing. I will be getting another 1, or a STI. I cant decide yet. Im so sad =[. Yes i left my Liesence plate's in there, if anybody wants to edit them out cool. But if not i just dont feel like doing it atm, i dont think its a big deal =)

Damn you messed up your pretty car....sorry to hear that man...glad you are alright...It's amazing how many people totaled their Zs and walked away. Makes me feel a bit safer in mine. On a side note...I know timing might be bad but If you want to make a quick buck I'll take those seats off your hands if the insurance lets you keep them...

Actually, im thinking of buying it back from them. I dont know how much it would be right now, but may be able to work something out. I mainly want my nav back and rear spoiler, oh yah and another Z.

 

Well I hope everything works out for ya....good to have you still in the Z family...but pm me if you do get those seats and are willing to sell...I've been looking for a good pair for awhile.

Wow! Glad to hear you're ok.

These cars handle VERY well in rollover accidents. Everyone I know that's rolled a 350z has walked away from it with minimal injuries, and has nothing but praise about the car's safety in a rollover situation.

 

I think you will like the STi, but will always feel a part of you that wants to get the Z again.

I'm gonna see what I can do in terms of new Z or repairing mine.

But I just can't move onto another car. My life with a TT Z has just begun . . . . I can't let it end now. Stuff happens and I try to deal with it.

Really glad you are ok. I live not to far from you and my z is my winter car also.
The ice here can be scary. I've had my heart in my throat a couple of times.

 

Glad you are OK, I would buy it back if I were you, and then buy a case or two of these, you should be good to go!

Glad your okay. Sorry, to point it out but did you realize you have a Honda sillouette on your hood? It looks like a custome "H" hood on there.
