Newbie DSLR Pics of my Z (No 56k)
Went out with a buddy yesterday that just got a Canon DSLR. We're still trying to figure out how to get the best shots possible so these are just for practice. Also, recently got the Nismo rear pieces installed to complete my kit.
Props to Gene (Kyosho) for the shots and Jeff (Buffmanjeff) for the rear pieces.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I know that much I should have been more specific. I was more talking about the moving shot. I was also wondering if he did have the new XTi if he was using the kit lens. I have not got to mess with my new camera yet. Trying to get a feel. If you have some experience in photography send me a pm I have a few questions..
I dont want to steal the thread.

If you have a Canon DSLR and installed the Image Brower (not the editor), you can see information from other images with EXIF info preserved. What's cool is that you can see an incredible amount of info and settings... even the lens used.
If you use a mac, the default image browser (Preview) has EXIF info also, but not the specific information like camera specific settings.
In this case, his body was the REBEL XT, along with the kit Canon 18-55.
I'm a beginnner also. I've only had the camera for roughly 2-3 months. I say the best thing begginners can do is go to a bookstore or search online, and read about photo basics. Then go buy the cheapest Canon Lens out there- the 50mm f1.8 prime. It's not a zoom, but the first shot you take with it, you'll see the difference in sharpness and color and blur (if you want it). Best of all, it's only $69. Oh, and buy a tripod too, whether is a Manfrotto or a cheapo, get a tripod.

love the kit!
