Default Drew this today after seeing the guy's paint video...

Took 3 scans from my work in progress. Done by hand not on the computer. Made this car up, tell me what you think! I know, I need to work on the angle, but it's my first try.

The grille was so hard to do. I worked on that and the hood foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr and it still looked like poop. Oh well, I didn't want to have to erase the whole front end again. Ignore the stupid angle.

suggestion, take a picture of a car, put paper over it start tracing it, you will see the simple lines needed to create the car and it will show you what type of lines you will need to draw to get the angle you want.

I give you an A for effort. Drawing cars is harder than it looks. Just keep on practicing. I've been trying to perfect my automotive design skills also.

Here are some sites that might help you:

http://www.carbodydesign.com/car-design-tutorials.php
http://cardesignnews.com

Have fun :-)

Actually it's very easy and water-down formulated drawings. If you can draw a cube in perspective, design a good 2d profile, and know the basic anatomy of a car then you can design it.
