Sold my 2004 Turbonetics Z, and bought a 2007 Sentra 2.0SL!
Details from when selling my car...
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236680
Yep sold the Z a couple of weeks back to that guy from NC.
Got to wait 21 days after the closing of that account before they send me the refund check (over paid amount that I will be using to pay off either my large credit card or my other card/loan).
Anywho, I researched and figured the 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL would be a good choice.
Priced at $19,015 (MSRP including Destination Charge) before tax/tag/title/etc.
The 2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan is priced at $20,105 (MSRP including Destination Charge) before tax/tag/title/etc.
And the 2007 Honda FIT $16,565 (MSRP including Destination Charge) before tax/tag/title/etc.
I was originally checking out the Honda FIT and Nissan Versa... But I wasn't to crazy about buying them with "upgraded packages" which bascially ended up putting them close to the same prices as the Nissan Sentra/Honda Civic top trim levels.
The Sentra is a 2.0 Liter 140 HP 147 FT-LBS...
While the Civic is a 1.8 Liter 140 HP 128 FT-LBS...
The Sentra has a 14.5 gallon tank, while the Civic has a 13.2 gallon tank.
Sentra gets 29 mpg city and 36 mpg hwy...
Civic gets 30 mpg city and 40 mpg hwy...
So not to shabby on the Sentra side since the sentra is slightly heavier and slightly bigger.
I bought the car back on the 16th, and after five days... I am very pleased, it is a very roomy and comfortable car.
Don't need the key to start the car, and I don't need the key fob to open/lock the doors which is also pretty cool.
Oh and also it has Bluetooth (which also the Civic didn't have), so when people car I don't even have to reach for my phone
Now friends keep trying to talk to me into buying another "project car" but truth is I am really done with it.
Instead I am going to enjoy the 2001 Suzuki SV650S as my fun ride
This week I will get my permit, insure, and register the bike so I can practice more before going back in for the license... And eventually when I can get off from work take the MSF course for more experience and learning.
And eventually I will be repainting the fairings (body panels), along with installing a new exhaust (since the current one is scraped up and tarnished).
So all in all, I really don't miss my Z too much, and I def. like not having to worry about stuff like I was with the Z
Sadly since I no longer own the Z, I most likely will be visiting less to this forum...
So I would like to thank Sharif@Forged, MIAPLAYA, Darren@Intensepower, and many others who have helped me along with making this forum very enjoyable to be apart of.

Nice bike BTW!
But I ended up getting the Sentra 2.0 SL at $16,900 before tax/tag/title/etc. So I walked out not feeling that bad on the down grade from the Z. Esp. when being completely legal, using regular unleaded, and freeing up a good amount of money that I can now start putting towards a nice house payment
Oh and you have a 2005 SV650S... Stock?

Personally, I don't enjoy driving front wheel drive vehicles. They suck the joy out of spirited driving.

Well at least you stayed with Nissan so +1 for that.
I wasn't a fan of the new Sentra design but i'm warming up to it now. I wouldn't mind having one for a DD. I'm not so big on FWD but if it's for daily driving it doesn't matter. If I owned a Z it would be my weekend warrior so I wouldn't have to worry about it much.
Enjoy your new ride buddy.

WOT when started, I have to become more familiar with the second gen... Since the first gen. is carb'ed and you need to use the choke along with warming up before riding.

Also I agree as well on the styling, I wasn't feeling it... I was only interested in the features to price and what not. Though it now is starting to rub me as not looking to bad. Oh and def. not a fan of FWD after owning the Z but after long consideration I feel for the sake of saving money and stuff I can live with it...
Also thanks

Also after owning a 370+whp Z, a stock Z or anything else in that price range isn't going to cut it anymore for me... So if I got a EVO/STI then I would feel compelled to mod again.
So I guess that is what I really like about the bike, it seems really fast to me... And I haven't even gone faster than 35 mph yet

Details are in my for sale thread, but basically I could have gotten more... But I wanted a quick sale, so I could quickly get my loan/credit cards paid off as soon as possible... Cause hopefully by next Sept. I will be enjoying myself in my own home
